Watercolour Roses & Eucalyptus Design
SEMI-CUSTOM WEDDING SIGN PACKAGE
This soft, romantic wedding stationery set has quickly become a favourite for good reason. Featuring classic garden roses in delicate blush pink paired with sage-toned eucalyptus, it’s an effortlessly elegant look that suits all kinds of venues, from barn weddings and garden celebrations to city chic venues. Although it’s a semi-custom design, it still has that authentic, hand painted feel which my clients love about it.
The nature of this being a semi-custom design, means that you can personalise the wording while enjoying the charm of pre-designed stationery, without the investment of a fully bespoke commission. I have various products in the watercolour roses and eucalyptus design, including a folded invitation, menus, table numbers and signage for a refined, cohesive look.
Blue Hydrangea Design
SEMI-CUSTOM WEDDING SIGN PACKAGE
Featured here is Robi and Claire’s beautiful wedding at Gara Rock in Cornwall. Their stationery was based on my semi-custom ‘blue hydrangea’ design and they added in custom illustrations as an additional upgrade. The personalised menus feature vellum name tags with the guest name, and the wax seals were stamped with the Gara Rock logo. As a special touch, I also hand-painted their much-loved dog and cat — a nod to their shared love of animals — which appeared on their welcome board and signature cocktail sign. This custom wedding sign package is a great example of how a semi-custom base can be made truly personal by adding in some extra design details.
Bespoke Illustrated Signage for Mary & Nick
FULLY BESPOKE | BOLD, QUIRKY & FUN
Mary and Nick wanted something truly one-of-a-kind - quirky, fun and full of character. The brief was to include lots of hand painted florals and decorative elements, inspired by the aesthetics of Boden and Oliver Bonas. Think kooky motifs, stripes, playful patterns and bright colours. They also wanted a nod to Africa, as they had ordered the most wonderful handmade beaded animals that were going to serve as place cards within their tablescape.
Some of the elements were a little different to the norm, which I loved working on. I created some table plan cards which would be tied to vases filled with flowers acting as a table plan. I also designed pyramid-shaped table talkers that included the menu and instructions for a fun treasure hunt, in addition to a drinks list, cocktail menu and DJ request board as part of their custom wedding sign package.
Bespoke Illustrated Signage for Lauren & Laurie
FULLY BESPOKE | ROMANTIC LAKE COMO DESTINATION WEDDING
Lauren found me on Instagram, as I shared an invitation featuring a watercolour painting of their wedding venue. She already had a brief and mood boards, and was looking for an illustrator to come up with creative signage, menus and escort cards that would fit within their budget. Detail was key, right down to the gelato menu and confetti cones! Most of my stationery is personalised, but this really was next-level and I loved that I was able to incorporate special memories by illustrating table names inspired by their travels together. The escort card display also looked particularly impressive. I created some shell shaped escort cards with bright pink tassels, which were pinned to a custom board with a decorative border to match the table names. For destination weddings, I often work closely with the event staff. So I designed the board and Arianna, the couple’s event coordinator, had it printed onto Forex panels. She then screwed on hooks to hang the shell cards from.
As part of the custom wedding sign package, I also designed some shaped menus, a Gelato menu for the ice cream cart and a custom order of the day sign - This kind of project is where bespoke illustration really shines and every detail feels curated, considered and completely personal.
